Delivery Policy

At Pfeil Art Gallery, we are committed to delivering your selected artwork safely, securely, and as promptly as possible. This policy outlines how and when your order will be processed and shipped.

1. Shipping Locations

We offer delivery both:

• Nationally within the Netherlands
• Internationally to EU and non-EU countries (full list at bottom of this page)

If your country is not listed, please contact us directly for a custom quote.

2. Delivery Times

For a full overview of delivery times, see the bottom of this page. Actual delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs clearance, and courier service availability. 

3. Shipping Carriers

We work with reputable shipping providers to ensure safe handling of artworks.
Tracking information will be provided once the shipment is dispatched.

4. Packaging & Handling

All artworks are:

• Carefully wrapped and packaged to protect against damage
• Shipped in durable materials suitable for fine art transport
• Accompanied by handling instructions where necessary

For original or high-value pieces, additional insurance and secure courier options may be used.

5. Delivery Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• Destination country
• Size and weight of the artwork
• Insurance requirements (if applicable)

Final shipping fees are shown at checkout or quoted via email for custom orders.

6. Damage in Transit

If your artwork arrives damaged:

• Notify us within 48 hours of receipt via [email protected]
• Include photographs and a description of the damage
• We will assist in filing a claim with the courier and offer replacement or refund options where available

7. Customs & Duties

For international orders:

• Customs fees, import taxes, or duties may apply
• These are the responsibility of the buyer
• Pfeil Art Gallery is not liable for delays due to customs processing
